HWC 黑沃咖啡 is the first partner of The Academy. Established in 2016 as a dream team of deeply passionate people in Taiwan, HWC has rapidly expanded its business in the dynamic and competitive coffee industry. HWC now runs a Coffee Academy and a Roasting Factory along with over 30 Cafés around Taiwan. Coffee used in HWC's business is among over 100 different types from countries with the highest quality of coffee beans in Central and South America, East Africa, and Asia. HWC is also the first coffee firm to own an organic coffee farm in Panama. HWC, which stands for Happy World Café, is where you draw your own map of the coffee journey.

The Academy also collaborates with JWC Coffee Academy and works with their instructors on Specialty Coffee. Founded in 2009 by Nelson Lai, Just Want Coffee (JWC) is strategically positioned to meet the increasing demand for Specialty Coffee in Malaysia and other countries. JWC has an incredibly talented team that has continuously won many national and international coffee awards. Nelson, who is the founder of JWC, is a well-known judge in the Specialty Coffee community of Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnam. JWC’s core members including Lucas, Mel, and Justin are all the coffee champions from Latte Art, Brewing to Barista.

Last but not least, founded in 2018, Quest Coffee is the combination of passion for education and coffee. Quest brings Specialty Coffee educational training programs in Vietnam that emphasize high standards and practical applications. Quest is now the only SCA Premier Campus in Vietnam certified for all 5 SCA courses. Not only does Quest focus on education & training but it also organizes a coffee competition annually that brings all contestants in Southeast Asia to one stage. It is a level playing field where everyone is given the opportunities to share their knowledge, experiences, and skills.
